Missing National Novel Writing Month?
We're running our own, through GrubStreet (and it's not just for novelists)
Just a quick note to remind you that I’m helping to facilitate our own National Novel Writing Month through GrubStreet, from November 3rd through 26th. There are no word count prerequisites or genre restrictions. Instead, we’re just going to write, together, every weekday of the month until Thankgiving, at 7am, noon, and 6pm EST. Join me and some of the stellar alums from GrubStreet’s intensive programs as we greet you on the hour, offer a writing prompt or bit of inspiration, and then turn off our microphones to get down to some serious creative output. Five minutes before the hour is up, we’ll greet you again, ask how it all went, and go on our way. Yes, that’s one writing hour three times a day at 7am, noon, and 6pm EST. That’s more than fifty hours of writing! You can join as often or seldom as you wish, depending on your preferred writing schedule (and timezone, of course). And you can join them all for only $35 ($25 for GrubStreet members).
You’ll also get special access to some great interviews to keep you inspired, including Kelly J. Ford (The Hunt) on time management, AE Osworth (Awakened) on joy writing, Tessa Fontaine (The Red Grove) and Annie Hartnett (The Road to Tender Hearts) on writing partnerships, and Desmond Hall (Better Must Come) and Patricia Park (What’s Eating Jackie Oh?) on what it means to invest in your writing career.

This looks great! Living in Barcelona now, the 6pm EST, 12am Spain session will have to be a dreaming hour of creativity 😀
