Listened to the recording, and loved every minute of it. My approach to writing is similar to Kelly's, and I feel very validated in my "can't write everyday" life with lots of paying work and other passions that take time ... but also the "work on the novel everyday" rule which saves me. I concur that it's important to do SOMETHING related to the project every single day. Looking forward to tomorrow!
This was a fascinating listen for me. I am a scrum master and work in tech (as a day job), and hearing about it applied to the writing practice is so cool. I think about the process of writing my novel - I've had my writing group reading chapters as I write and give me feedback - which has impacted the overall plot of my novel. By the time I finished my first draft (now I'm in rewrites), much of it had been rewritten and discussed so I'm hoping there are less overall edits. It's iterative development for your writing practice!
I'm mainly a playwright/dramatist, but I have one or two novels in me...and I'm trying in earnest to birth one of those novels now.
I just listened and I'm loving how one can apply the general advice to any writing (The Daily Scrum is fantastic). And I'm so looking forward to hearing all the different approaches in how to break open a novel.
Couldn't make Day 1 but listened in just now. Such fantastically useful takeaways, especially the idea of the daily scrum, which I've already implemented. Hardest thing for me is to transition from day job at the end of the day over into my writing time. This will help!

Just listened. So good! It's always so wonderful to feel like you're part of a community. Thanks for that!
