This was so interesting. I too have been in a writing group from a Grub St. (summer Novel in Progress) class from 2011, out of seven of us, there are three published novels , and three people have moved out of the area so we are very grateful for zoom! It is all about trust and being able to be vulnerable in front of the others so they can make comments that are truly helpful. I loved Michelle's phrase, 'this is what is alive on the page for me'. I emailed all the others in my group to make sure they listen to this.
