Lovely British agent kept my full manuscript six months with praise and hints of doing a revise and resubmit. She just wrote me to say the market in England was contracting to lots of Romantasy. (World events, you know.) That's the third such "pass" I've gotten. My story is too dark for the current troubled world!
Yes! Join as often or as seldom as you want. And I'm so sorry to hear this! But she obviously saw something special there, so I'm sure others will too. Every rejection sucks, but there are a lot more agents out there.
