I did a similar thread on Oct. 5, so some of you might want to look at that point as well. In that post, people also listed their emails in order to connect to each other. Even though this is a "public" page, I haven't heard that anyone had problems after doing that. I think this page is otherwise too difficult for "marketers" or those types to find. I can also delete your post later if you have trouble, at your request of course. Or you can connect through other social media messaging. You can also email me directly at 7amnovelist@substack.com though it might take me a while to connect folks through those messages. Putting your emails here might be best.

I would love to find an accountability partner/group as well. I just finished the first draft (after many years) of a historical fiction novel taking place in Western New York in 1808-1813. Feeling scared about starting the big revision process on a completed manuscript. Anyone else at the same place in their novel?

I have a couple of local writing groups, but I have always needed lots of accountability.

So, as well, I have been using this the London Literary Salon groups to give myself writing times: London Literary Salon (https://londonwriterssalon.com). They have a one hour writing group that travels the globe, providing 4 possible daily writing times. They even send a 15 minute reminder. I am using them write with their US east coast (8 am EST) and Australia (4pm EST) groups.

Hi! Annie Hartnett and I run an Accountability Workshop, which has cohorts that meet every other week on zoom, and also includes one-on-one phone calls and checkins, group writing sessions, agent/writer/creatives speaker series, slack chats, and individual creativity contracts. We love doing it, and have expanded it to others after being accountability buddies with each other for years. Annie was a guest on the 7am Novelist last weekend - we love this community! Also would love an accountability partner or group. Truly inspired by the flexibility of thinking from the 7am novelist leadership and guests -- would love to join up with those interested in talking through knotty issues in what we're writing, as well.

Hello, I am looking for someone to share a piece of my writing with. I am used to writing blog posts and I published one non-fiction book already. My themes usually revolve around the personal struggles of getting through the PhD process and the complexity of getting and keeping a job after one gets a PhD.

Funny. I thought I posted this already but it's not showing in the feed. So, if this turns out to be a double post .... don't be too hard on me. I'm looking for accountability too. I'm in the beginning stages on my novel right now and boy, do I need a kick in the pants. Love to hear from anyone here to see if any group has been started or if someone is interested in finding one. If so, let's chat to about what we are doing, where we are in the process and what our goals are. My email is cathstratton@gmail.com and you can also contact me via WhatsApp +1 9732719818.

I'm also reaching out to see if there were any Londoners who participated in this wonderful series. I'm an American and moved to London a short time ago and would love to meet other writers in my new metropolitan neighborhood. Please get in touch! Hope to hear from you soon! :))

Hi there. I'm looking for accountability too. I'm in the beginning stages of a novel. I would also love to meet writers who live in London. I'm kind of new here - I'm American - and would like to expand my community. So Londoners, please reach out. My email is cathstratton@gmail.com and, if you have WhatsApp, you can text me at +19732719818.

In the meantime, if any of the writers posting here have already set up accountability groups, I'd love to participate. Please get in touch! Thanks so much! Catherine Stratton :)

Yes! I'd love to connect with an accountability partner or group. I'm writing a first draft historical novel set in 1830's Massachusetts. I'm working on it every day and don't have a day job. But my story seems to be struggling under the weight of too much research. Please reach out! boehmerdata@gmail.com.

Wondering if there are any memoirists out there who might be interested in accountability partnering?

Hi,

I could use an accountability partner who has some revision experience. I am great at drafting, have lots of ideas and I read tons so I can always suggest other books that might be helpful for whatever phase you're on, in return for some support to keep going on the revision process which seems overwhelming some days.

Hi Suzanne! I am retired, so I write every day, thought I have a volunteer job that takes s lot of time. I can usually do 2-3 hours a day but need someone to tell me it’s more important than all the other demands on my time. In my working life, wrote full time as a lawyer - what do you edit?
